Oxkutzcab is a beautiful
little town surrounded by lots of very fertile land. They have
a huge flower and vegetable market,
and lots of carefully tended fields of oranges, bananas, tomatoes,
avocados. It was a great base for the Puuc Route sites.
Naturally, it had a tremendous church built by the Spanish with
liberal use of Mayan decorations. |
