Oxkintok is a very
remote site in the Sierra Ticul mountains, very hilly terrain
for the Yucatan. It is the home of the Labryinth, a Mayan puzzle
of a building with inerior passages that lead nowhere. Early
explorers spent days trying to find a path through it. Kind of
a Mayan practical joke. |
